Who runs this

Flip Phone is a small free project made by Tassh. You can find Tassh and how to get in touch at bytassh.com.

What we collect

Nothing about you on purpose. There is no sign up, no analytics and no third party scripts. Fonts and images are loaded from this site only.

Like every website, our server writes a short technical log when a page loads: the time, the page address and your IP address. We use it only to keep the site running and safe. These logs are small, kept only for a short time and deleted automatically. The note inside a love note link sits after the # sign, and browsers never send that part to a server, so it never reaches us.

What stays on your device

To work like a real phone, your browser keeps a few things in its own storage (local storage). They never leave your device:

• your inbox, outbox and Memories
• contacts and numbers you dialled
• settings like screen colour, ringtone, wallpaper and sound
• game top scores and your composer tune

You can delete all of it here, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Sending love notes

• When you send a note, the text, your name (if you add one) and the picture choice are put into the link. Anyone who has the link can open and read it, so only share it with the person it is for.
• Sharing happens through your own device (copy, messages, share sheet). We don't send anything for you.
• Pictures, GIFs and videos you save are made in your browser and saved to your device.

Using Flip Phone

• It's free and for fun. You may use it for personal, non commercial purposes.
• You are responsible for what you write and send. Please don't use it to harass, threaten or hurt anyone, or to share anything illegal.
• It's provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working, but we can't promise it always will, and we are not liable for lost notes or scores, as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
• The design, pixel font, pictures, games and sounds were made for this project. Flip Phone is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any phone maker or brand. Any trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.

Your rights

Under data protection law (GDPR) you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Since we don't keep notes or accounts, there is usually nothing to find, but you are always welcome to ask through bytassh.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
